Developed for Atelier Bowy C.D., part of Henzel Studio, this work by Adam Court forms part of The Atelier Editions program—an ongoing series of limited textile works created in collaboration with artists, architects and designers. The piece is introduced in the context of Milan Design Week at Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci, within the historic spaces of Le Cavallerizze.
Drawing on music, identity and the symbolism of the punk-era studded bracelet, Court translates a motif associated with personal expression into sculptural textile form. What originally exists as a small object worn on the body is expanded into a larger spatial composition—its circular structure unfolding across the surface of the rug.
